Loose Women is toasting a quarter-century of broadcasting, and the celebration of a major milestone has been immortalised with a dazzling new photograph featuring the show’s stars.

Adopting a shimmering silver motif, the presenters beam at the lens, donning an array of chic, floor-length dresses. TV favourites like Denise Welch, Nadia Sawalha, Kelle Bryan, and Judi Love are front and centre in the snapshot.

However, a key figure was noticeably absent from the group: Stacey Solomon did not partake in the photoshoot.

Recently, Stacey’s schedule has been chock-full with her BBC home improvement series, which even snagged her a National Television Award.

In addition to her professional endeavours, she’s been dedicating time to her brood of five, managing the bustling household that includes three young ones under the age of five alongside her partner Joe Swash, reports the Express.

Hints of Stacey scaling back her professional duties surfaced when she took to social media, stating: “A few things have happened over this year and for us as a family it just feels right me to let go and focus a bit more of myself on our family. It won’t just be in the style. I have been rethinking lots of things.”

She continued: “I feel so lucky and grateful to have been able to live out what I can only describe as my wildest dreams, and that’s just such a huge privilege. One I’ll never take for granted and certainly never forget. But it’s time for a change and a new focus.”

It was an emotional moment when she revealed her decision to step down from her role at fashion firm In The Sale, informing followers: “Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for InTheStyle.”

She added: “I have loved every single second of being able to design and create clothing with the most incredible team and literally bring my dreams to life.”

In contrast, Loose Women’s Linda expressed her fondness for the programme, saying: “If I wake up in the morning and I’m going to Loose Women then I am so happy because I know I’m going to work with my friends all day.”

Meanwhile, Christine Lampard shared her sentiments about becoming part of the show, noting: “I’d watched Loose Women for years. It had always been that kind of company at home and they asked me, I actually couldn’t quite believe my luck.”

Reflecting on the milestone, Loose Women editor Sally Shelford commented: “Over the last 25 years, Loose Women has tackled taboos and talked about issues not openly discussed on television, including domestic abuse, menopause, miscarriage and grief.

“Our incredible audience – in the studio and at home – have always been the fifth Loose Woman, and we promise to keep talking, sharing and shining a light on important subjects like these for our amazing viewers.”

Loose women airs weekdays on ITV1 from 12:30pm.
