A Supercomputer has been hard at work analysing Strictly Come Dancing data and has predicted a surprising result for this year’s winner.

After scanning the archives and examining the records of past winners and contestants, the Super-brain believes there can be only one clear winner – and it isn’t any of the current “favourites” who are topping the leaderboard.

The Supercomputer has forecasted that EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick will emerge as the 2024 worthy winner – based on past experiences from the BBC One show.

According to the analysis, conducted by The http://BonusCodeBets.co.uk Supercomputer, which accurately selected 33/1 outsider Hamza Yassin to win in 2022, has scanned the characteristics of all previous 21 winners of the show, revealing that the typical ballroom champion for this year will be a 31-year-old male actor.

That means out of this year’s contenders, East-London born Jamie almost perfectly matches a typical winner through his gender, occupation and age (30), reports OK!.

A spokesperson for http://BonusCodeBets.co.uk remarked: “With 21 years of the Glitterball trophy winners to analyse, the characteristics of a ‘typical winner’ clearly holds weight on who the Supercomputer says will be the victor this year.

“Knowing that history tends to repeat itself, we’re backing Jamie Borthwick to be enjoying a few celebratory pints in the Queen Vic in 12 weeks’ time.”

Currently, former Love Island contestant Tasha Ghouri is leading as the bookies’ favourite to win, with odds shifting from 5/1 to 3/1 after her impressive first live show performance, according to information provided by William Hill.

Before the series start, JLS band member JB Gill was favoured to win; however, his odds have since drifted to 9/2 following his initial performance with professional partner Amy Dowden.

Despite the fabulous dance routines securing them top spot on the leaderboard, a lively debate swirls about those with substantial dancing backgrounds like Tasha and JB joining the competition against total novices.

When appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, JB defended himself by stating, “All I can say is the only dance I did before was a jive. Other than that I have got no understanding of Ballroom or Latin dancing – other than what we did last week and this week with the Cha Cha – and it hurts.”

Strictly will air this evening on BBC1, from 19:15.
