Personality tests and optical illusions can reveal hidden aspects of our psyche, often unknown to others or even ourselves.

It can be really interesting to peel back these layers and discover traits we never thought we possessed, or uncover new insights about our character.

Content creator Jared, known as @trickedtok on TikTok, shared an optical illusion that echoes the classic duck-rabbit image, where two distinct images coexist. The first image you spot might indicate if you’re inclined to please others. So which image caught your attention first?

He captioned his video: “What do you see first in this image? Let me know in the comments! Turn your phone upside down and see if it changes the picture!”

In the visual puzzle, individuals typically notice one element before the other; “people pleasers” usually see the dog with a bone initially. If you’re less of a people pleaser, you’re more likely to first notice the grumpy old man with a flat cap on his head.

Jared added text over the video stating: “Different people see different things first depending on whether they’re more introverted or extroverted.”

Commenters expressed their fascination at being able to discern both images, with some even claiming to spot entirely unexpected figures within the optical illusion.

“I saw pizza”, someone claimed, with other wild theories including “a bunny” and “a capybara” circulating.

Other users confessed they were wrestling with the image, some only able to visualise a dog, prompting Jared to explain: “Turn your phone so the dog is upside down. It’s a man’s head, he’s wearing a flat cap.” Some even said they saw both at once, which may mean they’re both introverted and extroverted at the same time.
