Three more people have been arrested as part of a Police Scotland crackdown on drug dealers, sex offenders, domestic abusers and violent thugs.
They were detained in Dundee as part of an operation which saw officers seizing drugs and cash following raid in Craigie and Douglas.
Two men and a woman were arrested and charged after four drugs search warrants were executed at different properties as part of the probe.
On Friday, men aged 41 and 42, and a 30-year-old woman were arrested and charged, while a 30-year-old man was also cautioned and charged in connection with drugs offences.
The force said cocaine with an estimated street value of £1,000, was recovered, as was cannabis worth £370, heroin worth £30, and £12,000 in cash.
The force said reports will be submitted to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. The operation was codenamed Operation Argonite.
Police Constable Matty Alexander said: “We are determined to make Tayside safer. We will use all resources at a disposal to rid drugs out of our local communities.
“We rely on information from the public to help target our activities. If anyone has any concerns regarding the abuse of controlled drugs or those who may be involved in the supply of controlled drugs, contact Police on 101.
“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.” The intensification week ran from Monday September 23 to Friday September 27 across Dundee, Angus and Perth and Kinross.
We told last week how the force detained 40 individuals and carried out 12 property searches as officers executed warrants during the five-day Tayside crime salvo.
