MCDOWELL COUNTY, W.Va. – Free meals will be given out in McDowell County this week as residents deal with the effects of Hurricane Helene.
Rebecca Kelly with the Tug River Health Association says the organization will be providing meals at noon on Wednesday at the Northfork Location and on Thursday at noon at the Gary location.
WVVA is reaching out to see how many meals will be given out and when they will stop being served each day.
