A bright, breezy day saw perfect conditions for Annandale Sailing Club’s youth sailors in their annual regatta last Saturday.
Ten young sailors in a variety of dinghy classes entered the event which incorporated three races, organised by officer of the Day Stephen Hinton-Smith and his team.
Challenging, gusty wind shifts resulted in a few capsizes but there was close racing throughout the day, with only seconds between some of the boats finishing.
The club’s Vice Commodore Trudie Mitchell, said: “It was a fantastic da of sailing for our youth sailors. They were all winners for being so enthusiastic and having fun.”
