Trench coats are an autumnal wardrobe staple, and one straight from the high street has received glowing praise from Frankie Bridge.
The Loose Women panellist has been helping fashion fans update their new season wardrobe through her regular “Frankie’s Faves” Instagram series. The latest outfits have already been a hit, with many items flying off the shelves.
One item that is still fully in stock, but is sure to be a hit, is this Maxi Trench Coat from popular retailer H&M for £54.99. Despite being from the high street, the stylish 35-year-old praised its design that “looks really expensive.”
When sharing the H&M trench to her Instagram story, Frankie said that she “loves the shape” which looks a little different to other trenches on the high street. The roomy, loose fit makes it ideal for layering with your favourite seasonal knit when it gets a bit colder.
It’s complete with the classic turn-down collar, long sleeves, single back vent, welt pockets, concealed buttons and detachable tie-belt at the waist. It’s still available to buy from the H&M website in sizes XS to XXL.

Frankie herself shared the Maxi Trench Coat as part of her “classic work look” that was complete with a Fine Knit Top (£15.99) and Wide Trousers (£15.99) – both also from H&M. The smart-casual look was finished with the Lottie Mary Jane Ballet Shoes, priced at £18 from ASOS.
While some of the items shared began to fast sell out, such as the trendy crossbody bag, the trench is still available to buy. The TV presenter wrote: “Good news that this trench is fully stocked! I love the shape of this one and it looks really expensive!”
