Virgin River’s Martin Henderson has recently divulged juicy details about his journey as an actor, leaving his podcast co-stars utterly astounded.

The Kiwi actor, famed for playing rugged bar owner Jack Sheridan in the popular Netflix show, guest-starred on Alexandra Breckenridge and Zibby Allen’s podcast I Like You Very Much.

In a candid chat, Martin unveiled his approach to acting and shared hilarious tales from behind the scenes.

The revelation that left Zibby in fits of laughter was Martin recounting one of his initial roles in a school production of Cinderella.

He fondly recalled, “When I was 10 or 9 the school did a school show,” and added, “And it was an adaptation of Cinderella. And it was kind of this weird musical”, reports the Express.

Upon being quizzed by Zibby on his character, a bashful Martin admitted he had played the Fairy Godmother, which elicited an “Oh my God,” reaction from Alexandra.

He narrated cheerfully: “I came out in a tutu” which prompted giggles from Zibby as the usually macho Virgin River lead reflected on his excitement for the role back then.

“‘I want to do that, I want to do that!'” Martin reminisced enthusiastically. “I came out with a wand and a tutu and everybody laughed!”

As the hit series prepares for its sixth season, the actor has also opened up about his acting ethos, advocating for authenticity.

“What I relate to and what most artists are driven by is this idea of truth,” he stated, sharing his insights into the craft.
