You don’t need any fancy products to get your pans looking brand new – a mum recommends using Coca Cola to get the job done.
Taking to TikTok, parent-of-three Jenny revealed how to make a makeshift cleaning formula from the affordable fizzy drink. Apparently, it’s a hack she learned from her grandma.
The video, which garnered more than 5.8 million views, was captioned: “Do this and thanks me later!!!” Taking a bottle of Coke, she removed the lid.
She began squirting a tube of Colgate toothpaste into it, causing it to fizz up. She then placed it in a clear glass bowl to catch any overspill.
Jenny added some washing up liquid into the mix, before shaking everything together in the Coca Cola bottle to combine the ingredients.
Finally, she used a funnel to pour the mixture into a clear plastic spray bottle. It was then ready to spray into the dirty pans, which lifted up the grime and left them sparkling clean.
People were impressed by the hack. One commenter joked: “Tried it – works well. Way better than just drinking Coke normally, thanks for the tip.”
