Four Southwest Virginia food pantries recently received donations totaling $3,000 from the CNX Foundation to assist with their efforts to provide food for those in need.(CNX Foundation)

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The CNX Foundation has donated food to four food pantries to help with efforts to get food to those in need in Buchanan, Tazewell, and Russell Counties.

The donations totaled $3,000, and goes along with the work Virginia Operations employees do throughout the year to collect and deliver canned goods and non-perishable food items to help each of the food pantries in their mission to give food for those in need.

The four locations receiving the donations were:

  • Feeding My Sheep Food Pantry in Buchanan County
  • Helping Hands Food Pantry in Tazewell County
  • Good Samaritan Food Pantry in Richlands
  • Lebanon Community Food Pantry in Russell County

Each location received a $750 donation from CNX Foundation.
