Dame Helen Mirren has recently shared the contents of her beauty bag and it includes one popular moisturiser you bag for under a tenner.
The veteran Hollywood star recently revealed her top skincare items and cosmetics in the Harper’s Bizarre YouTube series “Inside My Beauty Bag”. This included the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Glow Day Cream, which is now on sale for half-price.
Designed for mature skin, this day cream uses a pink tint to “revive” your skin and give it a “healthy glow”. Dame Helen herself said that using the cream makes it “look like you just had the best night”.
Despite being part of the Academy Award winner’s skincare routine, it is on sale at both Amazon and Boots for just £9.99. It’s usually still affordable at £19.99, but we wouldn’t scoff at a 50 percent saving on a celeb-approved product.
Famed for her radiant complexion, the 79-year-old actress does act as an ambassador for the French skincare brand. Before applying the day cream, she also said she likes to use the Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Oil Face Serum, just £13.99 on Amazon.
The Age Perfect Rosy Glow Day Cream uses flower extracts to target skin that has lost its firmness and radiance. Using peony extract, a natural pink tint and neo-calcium, users say their appearance is “glowing” and “youthful”.
There’s also SPF20 to help protect your skin against environmental factors and further ageing. Meanwhile, the “non oily” formula is said to “absorb well” into your skin without leaving a shiny residue behind.
Currently one of Amazon’s top-rated beauty buys, the L’Oréal Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Glow Day Cream has managed to amass a 4.4 rating and positive reviews from fellow beauty buffs who have called it their “go-to” for a “youthful look”.
