A Scots street has been locked down by cops due to a ongoing disturbance

Officers from Police Scotland raced to March Crescent in Anstruther, Fife, at around 1.40pm this afternoon, October 4. Cops executed a warrant at a property on the residential street in the Fife town.

A disturbance is currently ongoing with several police cars and vans spotted in the area.

Pictures from the scene show a police van parked, with an officer standing guard at the junction, with a blue ‘road closed’ sign next to the uniformed officer. Another image shows two police vans parked and blocking the road.

Police Scotland say there is no threat to the general public.

A spokesperson for Police Scotlandsaid: “Around 1.40pm on Friday, 4 October, officers attended at a property in the March Crescent area of Anstruther to execute a warrant.

“A disturbance is ongoing and a cordon has been put in place. There is no threat to the general public.”
