Tyson Fury believes he’ll have to knock Oleksandr Usyk out to beat him as getting a decision from the judges will be impossible.

The Gypsy King lost his world heavyweight crown to the Ukrainian back in February as Usky became the undisputed world champion with a fairly comfortable victory despite the split decision in Saudi Arabia. That seems to go against Fury’ s prediction for the rematch in Saudi on December 21, who many feel was lucky to survive the ref’s count in the 9th round last time out.

Usyk has since vacated is IBF title, being unable to stage a mandatory defence, which saw it pass to Brit fighter Daniel Dubois, who retained his belt with a stunning knockout of Anthony Joshua at Wembley last month. Fury is determined to win the WBA, WBC and WBO belts from Usyk, although he is adamant that only a knockout will do and doesn’t want to rely on the judges scorecards in order to become world champion once again.

“There’s no secret – I’m going in there to knock him out because I don’t think I’m gonna get a decision no matter what I do,” he told Play Undisputed. “So I have to take it out of the judges’ hands. I believe I have to get him out of there.”
