A woman was over the moon with her Too Good To Go bag from her local chippy, declaring the experience “better than Christmas”.
TikTok user @sash34258, also known as Sash, couldn’t hide her excitement as she rated her takeaway haul a perfect 10/10. She shared in her video that the £4 spent on the mystery box was a bargain for the amount of food she received.
To begin with, she got a generous serving of chips and some curry sauce. However, the real surprise was yet to come. The box contained two battered sausages, another sausage, a piece of fish and a fishcake. She exclaimed: “All of this for £4. Sausages, chippies and curry. Oh my gosh, that’s so cool.” Her post has since gone viral, amassing more than 100 likes, proving that great deals can be found if you’re savvy enough.
Comments poured in with one person saying: “Omg I’m jealous.” Another questioned: “How did you not know that was a fishcake before seeing inside?”
Sash explained that she isn’t familiar with ordering fishcakes, hence her initial confusion. She also mentioned that getting a Too Good To Go bag is often hit or miss, but this time she definitely hit the jackpot.
Given the rising cost of takeaway meals, Sash’s find was particularly noteworthy. It seems she would have needed quite the appetite to polish off her chippy feast.
