Police have locked down a street in Glasgow amid a major ongoing incident.

Emergency services raced to Roystonhill in the Royston area of the city after receiving reports of a “disturbance” at 9.35am on Sunday.

The nature of the “disturbance” is currently unknown.

There are no reported injuries.

Images from the scene show multiple cop vehicles in attendance as the area has been closed off by police.

Officers remain at the scene.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were called around 9.35am on Sunday, 6 October, to a report of a disturbance in Roystonhill, Glasgow. There are no reports of any injuries and officers remain at the scene.”
