ATHENS, W.Va. – Sunday afternoon was a special day for some Concord Women’s Soccer team members.

Senior day is always bittersweet for the players closing the door on this chapter of their lives.

Although this one may have been a lot more sweet than it was bitter, given the score.

The Mountain Lions Women’s squad has 10 on their roster this season, and each was honored before the game with a special walkout between a line of their teammates.

Concord scored the most amount of goals the squad has seen in six seasons, where they scored 12 against Glenville State in 2018.

The Mountain Lions saw three plays score multiple goals with both Tiana Campbell and Caitlin Webster putting 2 in the net.

Although this was an all-around team effort, Sydney Tucker led the way with a hat trick.
