After forming a formidable dance partnership with Tasha Ghouri, Aljaz Skorjanec is preparing to reunite with his wife Janette Manrara for their nationwide tour.

The 34 year old Slovenian professional has been dazzling Strictly Come Dancing audiences and judges alike with his performances alongside reality TV sensation Tasha. This Saturday’s show on BBC One saw the dynamic duo captivate viewers with a rumba set to “What Was I Made For” from the Barbie film soundtrack (2023).

In related news, Aljaz and Janette have unveiled plans for a grand UK tour in 2025, consisting of 15 shows across the country, following the conclusion of Strictly’s milestone season.

Their extravaganza, dubbed ‘A Night To Remember’, will showcase the couple swaying to tunes ranging from the classic melodies of the “great American songbook” to contemporary hits, all set to the sound of their very own live big band, reports the Mirror.

Aljaz expressed his delight regarding the tour, noting his thrill at returning to Strictly after a hiatus of two years. He commented: “As if my return to Strictly wasn’t exciting enough, for Janette and I to be looking forward to our biggest tour next year makes us feel like the luckiest dancers in the world.”

He proceeded to share his anticipation for performing live, stating: “And as everybody knows from watching Strictly, you just can’t beat dancing in front of a live band. So, more than ever, we can’t wait to share our new show with our amazing fans all across the UK.”

Janette excitedly added: “It truly is going to be memorable show, and we are so happy to have the phenomenal Tom Seals and his big band bringing their off-the-scale energy to the stage for us to dance to every night.”

The 2025 tour is set to kick off in Bath on May 17, 2025, concluding in St Albans a few weeks later on June 6. Eager fans can snap up tickets from this Friday, October 11, starting at 10am.

Following Aljaz’s return to the Strictly ballroom after a two-year hiatus, Janette, who became a mother last year, has been presenting the popular spin-off It Takes Two alongside Fleur East.

Saturday’s competition saw Toyah Willcox bid farewell to the series, once again landing at the bottom of the leader board with partners Paul Merson and Karen Hauer. Meanwhile, Tasha and Aljaz continue to shine as one of this year’s top contenders.

With bookies placing them as the second favourites to clinch the title in Strictly’s 22nd season, speculation is rife about who will ultimately take home the glitterball trophy.
