Last weekend a small group of Dumfries and District Ramblers travelled to West Linton to walk in the Pentland Hills.

The weather was very varied with a typical Scottish mix of four seasons in one day, however, the view were fantastic with autumn slowly changing the colours of the trees and hillsides. Thanks go to Isabel for leading this walk.

A small group of Ramblers recently helped Phil to recce a walk for the next programme. All walks are recced either before they are put on the programme or before the actual day. This time the group had fabulous weather for the recce in Borrowdale and it can only be hoped the weather will be as kind in January when it is actually due to take place.
