The ex-fiance of Katie Price, Carl Woods, has warned how he is worried that her current ‘obsession’ with cosmetic surgery could be fatal.
This summer, the 46-year-old former glamour model made headlines as she jetted off to Turkey where she underwent surgery on her face – reportedly costing her the hefty sum of £10,000.
This is believed to be the sixth facelift she’s had in recent years – on top of numerous boob jobs, liposuction and other cosmetic procedures.
However, her former fiancé – Love Island star Carl, 35 – has shared how he worries that one day she won’t ‘wake up’ after anaesthetic.
Carl and Katie dated for around three and a half years after meeting through mutual friends and television work before calling it a day in 2023.
And, in his latest update, Carl has revealed his fear that Katie’s plastic surgery ‘obsession’ could see her in an early grave.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Carl said: ‘They say in your life you can only have so much anaesthetic before it’s a problem. And like everything in her life, Kate likes to push the boundaries. I feel like she’ll never be happy.’
He continued: ‘Unfortunately, there could be that final time she doesn’t wake up. Sadly, I do 100 percent believe that could happen. But Kate never spoke to me about being scared about it, she’d brush off all that talk.’
Carl went on to reveal how he’d considered liposuction himself but was ultimately put off after seeing Katie go through the procedure.
Carl said: ‘I got wrapped up in it all for a while – because she was constantly on this mission for perfection, so I started criticising myself. But when I saw her after her lipo, I was like, “Oh, my God. No, no way are they doing that to me.” She looked like she’d been hit by a train.
‘I told the doctors to take my cannula out there and then, and said, “I’m not going through with it.”
‘She looked like an octopus, she had so many drains coming out of her. Her wounds had pus, they were bleeding, and she was crying in agony. I looked at her and I thought, “Why are you doing this to yourself?”
After a series of public spats, Carl and Katie split for good on Christmas Day 2023 – but have continued to snipe at each other online and in the press.
In January, the former car salesman reshared an image of a car smashing into a tree with the caption: ‘Narcissists be like, it’s the tree’s fault!!!!!’
This was seemingly in reference to what Katie calls her ‘rock bottom’ moment – when she crashed her car while intoxicated in 2021.
Katie, meanwhile, has moved on, and is currently dating Married at First Sight star JJ Slater.
Katie showed off her new beau and the results of her assorted plastic surgery work last week while on holiday in Cyprus.

This comes amid a tough time for Katie, who was recently declared bankruptcy for a second time, with unpaid tax debts amounting to over £760,000.
