A Scots schoolgirl, 12, has vanished after not coming home as concerns increase for her welfare.
Police have launched an urgent search for Ava Bowen, who has not been seen since around 6pm on Monday October 7.
The youngster has been reported missing from Blairhall and could have travelled to Dunfermline. She is around 5ft 3ins and is thought to be wearing a cream Adidas jumper with black trousers.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Ava has been missing since 6.15pm on 07/10 from Blairhall. Ava is 12yrs old, 5ft 3″ and thought to be wearing a cream/gold Adidas jumper and black bottoms. She may have travelled to the Dunfermline area. Please call 101 with ref 3139 of 07/10 with any information.”
