Aldi fans are racing to stores to get their hands on the retailer’s latest chocolate treats – Dairyfine Honeycomb Bites and Dairyfine Marshmallow Bites. The indulgent snacks, priced at £1.79 for a 100g bag, have sent shoppers into a frenzy.
The honeycomb bites boast a golden, crumbly centre smothered in milk chocolate, while the marshmallow bites feature a salted caramel-flavoured mallow. They’re perfect for anybody with a sweet tooth, and fans were quick to show their appreciation when Aldi announced the launch on social media, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Showcasing the new treats on Instagram, the supermarket said: “Fancy a sweet treat with your cuppa this evening? Grab these NEW Dairyfine Honeycomb & Marshmallow Bites, covered in a velvety milk chocolate that melts in your mouth.
“For just £1.79, it would be rude to not!” The post racked up almost 9,000 likes and 73 comments, with one fan said: “Ok running to my local Aldi for this.”
Another, Sandra, said: “Omg! ! ! ! Brilliant new addition, can’t wait to try these.” Sophia, a third shopper, said: “These are better than a Crunchie.”
