Manchester City star Jack Grealish and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood are celebrating the arrival of their newborn daughter.
Grealish took to Instagram, sharing an adorable photo of their baby girl’s hand gripping his finger with the caption: “Mila Rose Grealish. 27/09/24.”
Likewise, Sasha posted the precious image on her own Instagram account, expressing her joy: “27/09/24. Mila Rose Grealish. The most special moment of my life.”
Fellow footballer Ross Barkley was quick to send his congratulations, commenting: “Congrats lad,” accompanied by a red heart emoji. Musician Tom Grennan chimed in with: “Congrats broooo.”
On Sashas post, Big Brother alum Noky Simbani complimented: “What a beautiful name, congratulations.”
BGT’s Calum Scott joined in with: “Congratulations man!!”
Footballer Declan Rice left a red heart emoji, while “Love Island’s” Jack Keating extended his good wishes: “Congrats guys”.
In a show of affection, Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan enthused: “Perfection. Love you so much already, Mila Rose. Auntie Megs can’t wait to buy you frilly socks and tutus.”
Louis Tomlinson’s sister Daisy also offered her felicitations, saying: “Congratulations beautiful,” and her twin Phoebe shared: “Congratulations, my darling.”
Singer Frankee Rose echoed the sentiments with: “Congratulations” followed by a pink heart emoji.
Sasha and Jack have shared their joyful news following Sasha’s candid discussions about her struggle to find clothes that fit at seven months pregnant. Not long before the arrival of baby Mila, Sasha expressed feeling “on edge” yet conceded she was “beyond blessed” to be starting a family with her childhood love.
The couple met during their teenage years, both attending a school in Solihull, West Mids, maintaining a relatively low-profile relationship ever since. They only went public with the pregnancy announcement in July, three months before welcoming little Mila into the world.
Grealish made the revelation on his Instagram, posting a heartwarming photo where he embraces Sasha from behind, both cradling her baby bump. Overjoyed, he captioned the image: “Life’s biggest blessing.”
In a similar vein, Sasha uploaded the cherished picture to her page, adding the caption: “Half of me, half of you – beyond blessed.”
The pair’s relationship has withstood the test of time, enduring through Grealish’s ascension in football from his early days at Aston Villa to his monumental move to City in 2021 for £100million.
Attwood has built a career for herself as a model, endorsing labels like L’Oreal, House of Fraser, Pretty Little Thing, and Boohoo. She also stood by Grealish throughout an arduous season which saw him battle injuries and face exclusion from the England team for Euro 2024.
Sasha and Jack’s relationship has been a rollercoaster, with Jack also being linked to various celebrities including Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, as well as two Love Island stars. Sasha kept mum when rumours of Jack dating Emily surfaced in 2021, but it was reported that Emily had given him an ultimatum to choose between the two women upon discovering he wasn’t completely single.
