A frantic search is underway to trace a pensioner missing from a Scots town.

Robert Blair, 67, was last seen on Oak Place in Dalkeith, Midlothian, at around 12.30pm on Monday, October 7. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Robert is described as being around 5ft 3in tall, of a medium build with brown hair and a goatee beard. When last seen, Robert was wearing a blue Regatta jacket, blue jeans, and beige boots. He may also have been wearing a baseball cap and glasses.

Robert is also known to travel by bus.

Sergeant Ali Bruce from Police Scotland said: “I would appeal to anyone with any information on Robert’s whereabouts to come forward as soon as possible and I would appeal to Robert himself, if you see this then please contact us to let us know you are safe and well. Please contact police on 101, quoting incident 3689 of 7, October 2024.”
