A Love Island star has been arrested after ‘threatening to kill’ a police officer.
Hannah Smith, 26, appeared on the sixth season of the American dating series, which aired earlier this year.
She lasted just over a week in the villa before being dumped.
Now, a few months on, the bottle server and Instagram influencer has been arrested in Georgia after initially being escorted from an event for ‘being disorderly’.
It’s been reported that on September 30, she was arrested for ‘for terroristic threats and acts, and wilful obstruction of a law enforcement officer’ in Cobb County, Georgia.
The arrest took place at 11pm at the concert venue Coca-Cola Roxy and Orange deck valet parking.
In the warrant obtained by The U.S. Sun, the arresting officer explained that Smith was being escorted from the event to her Uber when she ‘attempted to punch me with a close fist’.
She did not make contact with the officer, but while in handcuffs she also attempted to kick them ‘multiple times’.
The warrant continued: ‘Said accused did threaten to commit a crime of violence. While said accused was being transported to Cobb County Adult Detention Center she stated she was going to kill me and my sister multiple times with the purpose of terrorizing said victim.’
The former reality TV star was later released from jail on an $8,000 (£6,000) bond, according to court records.
Her mugshot also shows Smith appearing to scowl.
Since the arrest she has continued posting on social media, most recently sharing a series of lingerie photos on Instagram.
Before appearing on Love Island, Smith explained how she was nicknamed ‘goofy’ by her friends because of her clumsiness.
She also called herself ‘playful’ and revealed her celebrity crushes were Odell Beckham Jr and Michael B Jordan.
Smith who is from North Carolina, initially coupled up with Kendall Washington, but then became the first woman eliminated in the season.
