BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The first Big Blue Bash is set for Oct. 16 to help raise funds to enhance the programs at the W. Paul Cole Jr. College of Business at Bluefield State University.

Money raised at the event will be used for College of Business programs, scholarships and initiatives that help drive innovation, entrepreneurship and excellence in business education.

Students in the College of Business have access to career-focused programs with experienced faculty, modern technology, several majors and minors as well as a Master’s in Business Administration degree in various fields.

The event will be held at the Club on the Green on Whitethorn Street in Bluefield from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and feature a reception with hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and guest speakers, including faculty members and students.

Tickets are $100 and it is recommended they be purchased in advance by visiting Bluefieldstate.edu or by calling 304.327.4081.
