Dr Clare Bailey honoured her late husband, TV health star Dr Michael Mosley with a touching video tribute she shared online.

Married to the well-known diet expert since 1987, her world was rocked by his tragic passing earlier this year. A respected figure in her own right, Dr Bailey worked alongside her husband on numerous health initiatives, pouring her passion into helping others achieve wellness, SurreyLive reports.

She recently expressed her intention to continue delivering helpful advice on health and nutrition through social media, determined to “carry forward Michael’s legacy”, acknowledging that “even in his absence, it is a huge part of my life”.

Sharing the video on World Mental Health Day, which fell on October 10, she shared an insightful health tip from her late husband. It concerned “One of Michael’s personal favourite Just One Things”, which is known to decrease risks of diabetes and heart issues, enhance sleep quality, uplift your spirit, and improve overall fitness.

In her heartfelt post, Dr Bailey revealed: “I wanted to share one of Michael’s personal favourite Just One Things – the early morning walk. He loved morning walks and even when it was wet and cold would head off with boots and a brolly. It’s a surprisingly life changing habit.”

She went on to advocate for the benefits of a brisk morning walk, especially as colder months loom, explaining: “A short morning walk can be a great way to boost your mood – especially as we head into the winter months.

“Ideally you need to be outside for 30 minutes to get the full benefits. I hope this is Just One Thing you might give a go!”

In the shared footage, the late Dr. Mosley can be seen out walking as he tells viewers: “One of the things I’m a particularly big fan of are early morning walks. These are best done briskly and involving hills, because you get the benefit of going up the hill, but you also get the benefit of going down the hill.”

The video has swiftly garnered thousands of likes and comments, with numerous admirers paying their respects to Dr. Mosley. A follower replied: “Thank you so much! I have serious Michael withdrawal symptoms. I, as I am sure all of us, grieve with you for this amazing man … Thank you so much for continuing Michael’s legacy.”

Someone else expressed their admiration by saying: “Such a brilliant man, he touched the lives of many” while a third shared her continuous inspiration from Michael: “Michael was and is so inspiring and we keep ourselves sorted out by having daily dog walks through the woodland and heathland nearby.”
