Police have locked down a Glasgow City Centre street after a man was found injured this afternoon.

Emergency services raced to Union Place at around 3.55pm on Tuesday, October 15, following reports of an injured male.

He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His injuries are currently unknown. Cops have taped off as investigations are carried out to establish what happened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 3.55pm on Tuesday, 15 October, police were called to a report of a man found injured in Union Place, Glasgow.

“The man has been taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.”
