BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – West Virginia’s first dog Babydog celebrated a special milestone on Tuesday.
Gov. Jim Justice and first lady Cathy Justice brought their beloved pet to Barboursville Middle School to help celebrate her fifth birthday.
The school got Babydog a cake and gave her a pirate hat, since their school mascot is a pirate.
After the celebration, the children got to pet baby dog and give her plenty of attention.
Tuesday also was designated as Babydog Day in Barboursville.
