(CNN) – The list of the most expensive zip codes in the United States is out, and it’s not 90210.
Zip code 94027 tops the list again for the eighth year in a row, which is Atherton, California.
The median price of homes sold in 2024 in that San Mateo County community is nearly $8 million.
It’s followed by two New York zip codes in the Hamptons where the median home prices are nearly $6 million.
California leads the country with seven zip codes in the top 10.
Of the top 100, 78% are in the California Bay area, metro Los Angeles and the New York City metro area.
Property Shark conducted the survey based on closed residential sales, not list prices.
