A 40-year-old driver was killed when he slammed into a parked tractor-trailer whose driver had just been in another collision on a Bronx thruway, police said Thursday.
Edwin Seixas was behind the wheel of a Dodge Journey when he collided with the tractor-trailer on the southbound side of the New England Thruway portion of Interstate 95 near Baychester Ave. about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.
The tractor-trailer was unoccupied at the time in the wake of an earlier crash.
Seixas, who lived in Norwalk, Conn., according to cops, was rushed by medics to Jacobi Medical Center but could not be saved.
