Papa John’s has urgently recalled some of their dips and dressings after traces of peanuts were found in them.

The pizza company told customers their Garlic and Herb Dip and Vegan Ranch Dressing may contain the allergen.

This includes the 25g ad 100g dips includes with pizza orders.

The Vegan Ranch Dressing, which is used on Philly Beefsteak Pizza and Papadias, also contains traces of the allergen.

Papa John’s said: ‘If you have a peanut allergy, please avoid these items.

‘We are working quickly to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, we will replace the Garlic and Herb Dip with out Special Garlic Dip, which is unaffected.’

It comes after 10,000,000 pounds of meat were recalled in frozen dinners and salads.

Almost 10 million pounds of meat in frozen dinners and packaged salads are being recalled for possible listeria contamination.

Affected products were sold by popular grocery chains and distributors including Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Amazon Fresh and Jenny Craig, according to US regulators.
