ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJLA) – Three sisters have followed in their family’s footsteps and work in the same Maryland hospital.

Patients and staff at Luminis Health in Annapolis are often doing triple takes.

“I hear it every time I come here, like, I heard a voice. I thought it was you. What are you doing here on dayshift? You guys look so alike,” Nicole Gibbs said.

The Gibbs sisters’ journey to work together at Anne Arundel Medical Center started years ago.

“So, we went to the same high school. We went to the same, every school,” Nicole Gibbs said. “Same elementary, middle school, high school and college.”

Every step of the way, the sisters have done it together.

But twins Caitlin and Courtney weren’t necessarily following in big sister Nicole’s footsteps since they have a long history with the hospital.

“About 22 years ago in September,” Courtney Gibbs said. “We were both born here.”

Snap shots show Nicole caring for her newborn siblings. Not much changed two decades later when the sisters started their new job back in the same place.

“And she’s like, you need to come to these elevators and come to this floor,” Caroline Gibbs said.

Caring for others runs deep in their family as their mother and aunt both work in health care.

And there might be two more Gibbs walking in the halls. The Gibbs have another set of younger sisters who are twins.

When asked what it would be like if they all worked at the hospital, Caroline Gibbs said, “That would be crazy.”

The 9-year-olds have some time to figure out their own path but if they do choose this hospital, it could call for another news story.

“Now that would be a good story to tell,” Nicole Gibbs said.
