Fans listening to Suki Waterhouse prank call her fiance Robert Pattinson were left talking about more than her elaborate joke.
The Good Looking singer, 32, who shares a daughter with The Batman star, 38, convinced him she wanted them to take on a new role together.
As part of Elle’s new video series Phoning It In, she prank-called Pattison as well as pals Zoë Kravitz and Camila Morrone.
Speaking to Robert, she attempted to convince him she had been approached about hosting the latest season of Love Is Blind alongside him.
‘You know that show, you know Love is Blind. Yeah, I just got offered to be the host for Love is Blind. Isn’t that so cool?’ she told him.
Robert asked her to clarify which show it was, to which she replied: ‘We watched it a while ago, and they’re like, oh, are you my type? Are you my type? It’s quite deep, though it has quite a lot of, I don’t know.
‘I feel like it’s a sociological experiment. It’s actually quite beautiful in lots of ways.’
‘Interesting, what an interesting turn of events,’ Robert replied, but Suki wasn’t done with him yet.
‘I just feel like it would be like quite a good thing to do, but also, they were saying, we could do it together as well, which I thought actually could be quite good,’ she continued, prompting Robert to ask if she had ‘gone mad.’
‘But don’t you think it would be quite good for us? Like it’d be great for you,’ she said.
At this point, Robert started to cotton on to the fact it was, indeed, a joke, to which he asked if he was going to be on ‘some TV show.’
‘No, you’re not on TV, you are gonna be on the internet though,’ Suki added.
While the prank call was hilarious, fans were more distracted by Robert’s ‘real’ voice which many dubbed ‘so posh.’
‘In the 21 years of my life I have not heard his normal voice my god he is so posh,’ joshieonfilm wrote on X.
Iamnaaomixx added: ‘Nah cuz it took me a second to actually confirm it’s him’, while saylesssavage said: ‘ngl I paused for a while the moment I heard his voice.’
Waystarroycohq wrote: ‘The “darling have you gone mad” threw me bc that is not Edward Cullen.’
Others said they were ‘so confused’ by the video, while some just simply ‘couldn’t believe it.’
Suki and Robert were first linked in 2018, and Suki has now revealed she and Robert met at a Hollywood games night also attended by the likes of Al Pacino, in which they played Traitors-esque party game Werewolf.
The couple privately welcomed their little girl in March 2024 and are yet to reveal her name.
Following months of rumours, Suki confirmed her pregnancy while performing at Mexico City’s Corona Capital festival in November as she directed attention to her growing bump.
Robert isn’t the only British star sending social media users into a frenzy recently as We Live In Time star Andrew Garfield caused pandemonium following his electric Chicken Shop Date episode with Amelia Dimoldenberg.
At one point he outright tells her he is ‘flirting with her’ and at another says they could have had a real shot without the elaborate setup – leaving fans swooning and speculating they are actually dating.
