Rate Celtic’s chances of getting a positive result against Atalanta?

ANDY NEWPORT: It’s certainly another huge test for Brendan Rodgers’ side against the Europa League winners. The Celtic support will surely expect their boss to change his approach and if he does stiffen up then they might stand a chance. If not, then don’t be surprised if there’s another defeat to match their Dortmund dismantling.

CRAIG SWANN: Not high if they don’t tighten up from Dortmund or even the spaces they afforded Aberdeen at the weekend. Celtic will likely need to be perfect in all aspects to get a positive result.

KEITH JACKSON: Somewhere between slim and none. What matters most is that Brendan Rodgers settles on a strategy that doesn’t leave his side exposed to another humiliation. The points for the play-offs will be won on home soil.

MARK PIRIE: It’s a longshot for sure, but the Serie A side have their fair share of injury worries going into the Champions League matchday three. If Brendan Rodgers takes a more cautious approach they could leave Italy with credit in the bank – and maybe a point.

Will Rangers get their Second win of the Europa League against Steaua?

ANDY: They should do with a packed Ibrox behind them. The Romanians have started their league phase campaign in impressive form two wins but their domestic record is patchy and if Rangers can find a display to match their opening day win in Malmo they should fancy themselves.

CRAIG: Rangers’ loss to Lyon last time was sobering and the display at Kilmarnock was just awful. The manager needs a big reaction and there’s little chance if they don’t buck up after Rugby Park.

KEITH: They should do. A home tie against the Romanians always looked like a winnable fixture even before Steaua started talking about bringing their reserves to Ibrox. Three points is a must if Rangers plan on making the play-offs.

MARK: Rangers have saved some of their best performances for Europe and they will need to do the same again. With FCSB’s boss admitting they will field a weakened side it’s the perfect chance to claim another three points.

Will Aberdeen build on their Celtic Park point and stay in the title fight

ANDY: Time will tell but they’ve certainly got some major momentum behind them. The fact they can rest up and recover while they Old Firm are slogging their way around Europe is a huge bonus too for Jimmy Thelin’s team.

CRAIG: Aberdeen just need to take of the rest week-on-week and that will automatically keep them in the fight. Easier said than done, but achievable on current form.

KEITH: How many times does Jimmy Thelin need to prove he’s the real deal before people pay attention? The Swede might not win the title in his first season in the job but it’s time for everyone to accept that Aberdeen are back as a serious force again. And not before time.

MARK: It looks like it’s time to take Aberdeen seriously. A win in their next game against Dundee United would tee them up perfectly for the clash with Rangers and keep them in the conversation at the top.

How is the future looking for Hibs boss David Gray?

ANDY: Perilous. He’s on the kind of downward trajectory that has previously did for Jack Ross, Shaun Maloney, Lee Johnson and Nick Montgomery. The only lifeline he’s got to cling to is the realisation that Hibs are in desperate need of a period of stability but that will only last so long.

CRAIG: It’s a grim situation at the moment with some dreadful defending and red cards costing them dearly. Sunday’s Derby against Hearts is monumental for him going forward.

KEITH: Not great. He needs a bit of time and patience to dig himself out of a hole but, now that his side has hit rock bottom in the top flight table, he’s unlikely to get either. Five points from eight games is not a good look.

MARK: Bleak. The problems at Easter Road go far deeper than the dugout, but a disappointing result in the Edinburgh derby could be the final straw.
