Out of favour Luis Palma has taken to social media to hint that he is ready to wait for his chance at Celtic after his latest snub.

The 24-year-old is struggling to make his mark in his second season at Celtic Park having not made a competitive appearance for the club since starting in the win over Falkirk in the Premier Sports Cup last month. The winger was left out of Honduras squad during the international break to allow him to try and catch Brendan Rodgers’ eye – and netted a hat-trick against Sligo Rovers during the mid-season friendly victory in Ireland.

But that wasn’t enough to earn Palma the nod during the 2-2 draw with Aberdeen as Scottish Premiership action returning – as the wide man was left on the bench once again. Following the clash, a defiant Palma took to his Instagram.

He posted text that translates as: “Patience: Don’t rule yourself out, it may be the best year of your life, it’s just that it’s being reflected until the end. The day of the harvest is not the same as the day of the sowing.”

While Palma’s long-term Celtic future remains up in the air, new Head of Football Operations Paul Tisdale could look to Hammarby forward Bazoumana Toure. The Hoops, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen are all said to have scouted the 18-year-old in recent months.

Expressen report that Bayern Munich have now enter the signing race while Crystal Palace are said to be “preparing an offer.” Hammarby are said to be sticking to their bumper £8.3m price tag for the 18-year-old.
