The rapper turned 52 two days before performing at the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix at COTA.

AUSTIN, Texas — An iconic rapper had a unique birthday celebration in the Texas capital last week.

Eminem celebrated his 52nd birthday with a custom-made “mom’s spaghetti” cake, paying homage to his Academy Award-winning song “Lose Yourself,” from the 2002 semi-autobiographical film “8 Mile.”

The rapper enjoyed the dessert ahead of his performance at the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas on Oct. 19.

The “eye-catching” creation was baked by Austin pastry chef Hannah Brockert, who was approached directly by All Pro Smoke House chef Andy Knudson, according to Eater Austin

Brockert crafted the cake to look like a tall plate of spaghetti, topped with sauce, cheese and plenty of meatballs.

In order to create the dessert, Brockert used a devil’s food cake base with peanut butter-flavored buttercream icing. She then added strawberry sauce to look like marina, chocolate rice crispy balls for the meatballs and small pieces of white chocolate to imitate parmesan.

Brockert posted a photo of the cake to her Instagram last week. Another image was shared by Eminem’s restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti Detroit, with the caption, “Look who took the cake! HBD Marshall!”
