A charity event in Stirling headlined by iconic British DK Judge Jules has had to be postponed until next year.
The Ibiza legend was top of the bill for the Back Onside Live music event at Stirling’s Albert Halls on Sunday, November 3.
The event also featured a host of other music industry names and favourites.
But the Cambusbarron-based mental health charity has announced it is having to put it on hold until March.
The charity posted: “We are really sorry to have to announce that our Back Onside Live event at Stirling Albert Hall on Sunday November 3 is having to be rescheduled due to matters beyond our control.
“We have tried everything to ensure this didn’t need to happen but unfortunately we have no choice in the matter. We will be rescheduling the event to Saturday 15 March 2025 and we would love it if you can join us.
“Refunds will automatically be made from our ticket site to anyone who has purchased tickets and then if you are able to attend the new date you will be able to buy tickets for the rescheduled event once we put them on sale next week.
“Again, we apologise for the short notice and please keep an eye out for more information.
“Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you at our next event in the future.”
In a special video message recorded ahead of the event, Judge Jules had said: “Back Onside is an incredible charity doing vital work to support mental health and those facing tough life challenges.
“I’m honoured to be a part of everything, so get ready for a night of amazing music, good vibes and most importantly, a chance to come together for an important cause.
“Let’s raise the roof and raise awareness for mental health.”
Judge Jules was to be supported by Clyde 1’s George Bowie and Cassi, Drums n Roses, Dionne Hickey, Till Death Do Us Party and BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist Amy Papiransky.
The is known across the world for his Radio 1 shows, Ibiza sets and more, including his internationally syndicated radio show ‘The Global Warm Up’ which can be heard across the US and Europe and the Middle East or via podcast.
Alongside his full-time job as an entertainment lawyer, he still tours frequently as a DJ and continues to play at notable venues such as Zero Gravity Dubai and Ministry of Sound, and at events such as Luminosity Beach Festival, Creamfields and Dreamstate USA.
Cambusbarron-based charity Back Onside has been providing support to people from all walks of life facing mental health challenges since being established six years ago by local woman Libby Emmerson.
The organisation aims to improve the nation’s mental health through education, support and inclusion.
The charity uses a combination of approaches, including sports or activities such as dance and drama, one to one counselling, groups, and also education and awareness raising in schools and workplaces.
