Dr Clare Bailey, who was married to the renowned Dr Michael Mosley until he passed away earlier this year, has provided a “budget-friendly” recipe that’s not only great for weight loss but also perfect to enjoy “all year round”. An expert in her own right, Dr Bailey worked alongside her late husband on numerous health projects and continues to aim to help others improve their wellbeing.

She recently said she was “slowly but surely” returning to share more health and food content on social media so as to “carry forward Michael’s legacy” adding that “even in his absence, it is a huge part of my life”, and she continues to champion the Fast 800 diet, known for helping many shed weight rapidly.

In a new Instagram post, Dr Bailey shared a diet-friendly dish, as she explained: “Protein is a health all-rounder, essential for rest, repair, maintaining muscle mass, and reducing your risk of chronic illnesses like osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease.

“Studies have also shown that it does wonders for weight loss, as it increases satiety, and can help to prevent weight regain. The team at The Fast 800 has created a fasting-friendly (and keto!) version of the classic quiche by skipping the pastry. Using frozen broad beans makes this dish budget-friendly and available all year round.”

The “quiche” is made from eggs, milk, ricotta, defrosted frozen spinach, tarragon, cheddar cheese, and broad beans, and boasts a modest 318 calories per serving as per the Fast 800 website.

Fans have reacted in the post’s comments section, with many saying the meal looks “delicious”.
