Netflix viewers are just finding out about a legal drama that is now in its third series, with some fans branding it one of the platform’s “best shows”.
The Lincoln Lawyer, which first aired on Netflix in 2022, released season 3 on October 17 – and many viewers have already branded it the strongest season yet.
The Netflix show, which is based on the books of Michael Connelly, stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Los Angeles defence attorney Mickey Haller, who often works out of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Navigator.
Other major cast members include Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson and Yaya DaCosta.
The show has proved so popular that it has climbed all the way to the number one spot on Netflix’s list of ‘Top TV Programmes in the UK Today’.
Season 3 may have just aired, but an impactful season finale has left many viewers calling for more, as they took to social media to demand a fourth instalment.
On X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “Netflix don’t you dare cancel The Lincoln lawyer, better renew it for season 4.” (sic)
Another penned: “Dear @netflix do us all a favor and go ahead and renew #LincolnLawyer for season 4… thanks, management.” (sic)
A third expressed: “Lincoln lawyer is one of the best Netflix shows. I need them to start filming season 4 right now.” (sic)
Another tweeted: “Well, that’s Season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer finished off. Really enjoyed that one. Let’s hope it gets a season 4.”
One more fan admitted: “I just finished watching Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 in one sitting, and I’m already Googling the release date for Season 4. The suspense is overwhelming!”
Other viewers confessed they had not previously been aware of the show’s outstanding quality, revealing they had only just stumbled across it.
