A West Lothian nursing home is in the running for a prestigious national award.

Kirk Lane Nursing Home, Livingston, has been shortlisted in the seventh annual Caring UK Awards, which recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.

For care home service, Kirk Lane was a Scottish Care finalist in 2023 ,and set in the historic Livingston Village, is surrounded by the new town of Livingston.

The impressive specially designed home – part of the Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group – has been completed to an exceptional standard and offers state of the art facilities for round-the-clock professional nursing care.

Managing director Peter McCormick said: “We are thrilled and honoured that Kirk Lane has been selected as a Scottish Care Home of the Year finalist. This recognition reflects our team’s dedication to exceptional care.”

Caring UK Awards event director Dominic Musgrave said: “The Caring UK Awards are now in their seventh year and with more entries than ever before, our finalists really have reason to celebrate too as it’s a huge achievement to have made the shortlist and is testament to the teams behind each.”

The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with leading care industry magazine Caring UK, with support from headline sponsor Virgin Money.

In each category up to seven finalists have been selected and they will now go through to the next stage of the judging process.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at The Athena in Leicester on Thursday, December 5 when the industry will gather to salute all that is great about the care sector.
