Tazewell County Public Schools bus(WVVA News)

BLUEFIELD, Va. – Tazewell County Public Schools announced that Graham High School earned an award from the Virginia Department of Education. The award was announced at the Virginia Board of Education meeting on Oct. 24.

The Exemplar Performance Award was given to Graham High School for continuous improvement in increased graduation and completion index, and a reduction in the dropout rate.

Graham High School was one of 49 schools recognized in Virginia for the Continuous Improvement Award.

Tazewell County Public Schools said recognition for innovative practice is awarded every two years and will be awarded later this school year once the nomination and review process has been done.
