A star of one of the most beloved rom-coms of the 1990s still looks virtually the same, 29 years after its release.

Clueless is a teen comedy starring Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd and the late Brittany Murphy, that has only grown in popularity in the decades after it came out.

Set in swanky Beverly Hills, California, Silverstone played spoiled rich girl Cher Horowitz, who takes on a project to make a new student popular in this loose adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma.

One of Cher’s high school peers – and, in fact, nemesis – was played by Elisa Donovan, in her big screen debut.

The film also starred Stacey Dash, Scrubs actor Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer and prolific character actor Wallace Shawn.

Elisa, now 53, got to model bold outfits as her outrageous character, Amber Mariens, in the film – and rocked bright red hair.

The star still has fiery-red locks, which she showed off to their best advantage recently at the premiere of Netflix’s hit movie, Eddie Murphy’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.

Elisa wore a black halterneck top and leather shorts to the event, which she paired with a collection of silver pendant necklaces and towering platform heels.

She and Alicia, 47, also thrilled fans last year when they both reprised their Clueless roles for a Super Bowl commercial for Rakuten, which made sure to bring back their iconic movie outfits in all their glory.

After the 1995 flick, Elisa went on to snag another trademark role in a famous and beloved 90s/00s TV show – Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

She played star Melissa Joan Hart’s friend Morgan Cavanaugh in the final three seasons from 2000 until 2003.

The duo had another onscreen reunion years later when Elisa guested on Melissa’s sitcom Melissa & Joey with Joey Lawrence in 2014.

Other notable roles on the actress’s CV include her appearance in NSYNC’s 1999 music video for their song Thinking of You (I Drive Myself Crazy), from their hit self-titled debut album.

Elisa also appeared on Blossom and Beverly Hills, 90210 as well as in National Lampoon’s TV: The Movie, A Golden Christmas and the taking on the starring role in NBCUniversal’s digital series In Gayle We Trust.

Festive comedy TV film The Dog Who Saved Christmas, in which she co-starred with Superman actor Dean Cain, was successful enough to spawn multiple seasonal sequels, which she has also starred in.

She has been married to husband Charlie Bigelow since 2012, with whom she shares daughter Scarlett Avery, 12.

The star is not the only person from a cult favourite 90s movie to have apparently been drinking from the fountain of youth, after Rachel True from 1996 horror The Craft stunned fans in her latest Instagram posts.
