A weight loss guru has unveiled her guidance for “lazy” individuals seeking to trim down without hitting the gym.

The TikTok user, @bilan.caliii, detailed her transformation from a “lazy girl” lifestyle by adopting simple habits, as captured in a viral post on the platform. She emphasized the importance of starting small to build momentum towards weight loss.

In her TikTok post, she said: “The best things in life take time so no need to rush perfection. If you wanna lose the weight and keep it off it’s always better to start slowly and ease yourself into becoming the ideal version of yourself that you want to be.”

Bilan’s subsequent advice was straightforward yet essential for beginners: “Go for a walk,” she suggested.

“Don’t go to the gym on day one. Don’t go lifting weights. Don’t go for all of that just start going for a walk after you eat your food. Especially once you have breakfast just go for a walk, get your steps up, get your body used to physical activity.”

She further recommended practical habits such as walking post-meals and carrying a water bottle everywhere to facilitate the early stages of weight reduction. Besides these tips, Bilan advocated for a private weight loss process that shouldn’t be publicised.

She advised, “Nobody should know that you are losing weight because as soon as you start telling people they’re going to start giving you compliments.”

“However, you are going to start getting the endorphins that you should be getting once you’ve lost the weight. Now we’re getting all those feel good endorphins before you start your weight loss journey and you’re just gonna revert straight back to laziness.”

She further advised sharing your weight loss goals with “two or three people that you can trust”. Emphasising the importance of a balanced diet, she suggested cutting down on takeaways and junk food, but for those who enjoy a weekend treat, “healthier” options should be sought out.

Nando’s was highlighted as a “game changer” for weight loss by Bilan. In the comments section, she revealed that the secret lies in “whole foods and nutrients.”
