Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson MSP was delighted to cut the ribbon at the relaunch of Pure Gym in Motherwell Shopping Centre after a major refurbishment.
Pure Gym Motherwell is a fitness facility which operates 24/7 opening hours. It currently has more than 50 weekly group classes as part of the membership.
Following the refurbishment, the site now has an upgraded free weights area with a four bay lifting rig, a new stretch area, upgraded fitness studio with all new equipment, and upgraded cycle studio with all new bikes,, and an upgraded functional area with sled track.
Ms Adamson said: “It is brilliant to have Pure Gym Motherwell relaunched and upgraded. The new facilities look absolutely fantastic and it is important to have a place dedicated to health in an accessible location.
“Managing your health and wellbeing can be incredibly difficult between demands on your time.
“Improving your physical health is crucial to your mental health too. It has certainly got me thinking about my own routine and the need to ensure regular exercise.
“I hope my constituents in Motherwell and Wishaw will be able to make the best of the new facilities and my very best wishes go to the team at Pure Gym Motherwell.”
