Amy Dowden is on the mend after a health scare saw her rushed to hospital from the Strictly Come Dancing set.
The professional dancer, who made a full return to the show this year following a cancer battle, was noticeably absent from Sunday night’s BBC results show after reportedly collapsing after the live show.
During the results show, Tess Daly briefly announced Amy’s absence, stating: “Before we get started, Amy is unable to be with us for tonight’s show,” before swiftly moving on.
However, Ranvir shared a positive update on Monday’s episode of ITV’s Lorraine, saying: “It has since been revealed that she is feeling much better and of course she is one of our family here.”

Ranvir added: ” We wish her a speedy recovery, my love. Lots of love to Amy if she is watching this morning.”, reports the Mirror.
Amy’s Strictly partner JB Gill has since spoken out, sharing an emotional message on Instagram and thanking the public for their support.
He wrote: “on behalf of both @amydowden and I. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for voting for us and wishing us well.”
JB added: “We absolutely loved our performance on Saturday night and are SO grateful to be through to another week. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support.”

The singer’s update quickly became a hotspot for affectionate messages from Amy’s squad and supporters. Celeb buddies Pete Wicks, Johannes Radebe, Jowita Przystal, and Nancy Xu all dropped heart emojis in support, while Amy’s show bestie Dianne Buswell did the same. Ex ‘Geordie Shore’ icon Vicky Pattison chimed in with: “Smashed it babes.”

Meanwhile, Sarah Louise Merrygold, famed JLS star Aston Merrygold’s other half, added her praise saying: “Smashed it J Ballroom. Team JAmy smashing it again.”
Although the pair won a pass to dance another day, Amy hasn’t hit up her socials since Saturday eve, leaving fans wondering if she’ll be back to quickstep on our screens soon.
