Good Morning Britain viewers were quick to criticise a fiery interview following a heated debate about Prince Harry and Prince William.

The conversation was sparked by recent news that the Prince of Wales has reportedly made a conciliatory move in his ongoing feud with Prince Harry, publicly naming him for what is believed to be the first time in six years. In his new ITV documentary, Prince William discusses his brother, which some interpret as an olive branch.

The question of whether the brothers are on the path to reconciliation ignited a fierce argument between two guests. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams stated: “We can hope but on the other hand before we hope we must actually see something from the Sussexes to show there’s reciprocation.Showbiz and Royal reporter Sarah Tetteh commented: “I think it’s a gesture from Prince William. Because William doesn’t do things by heart.

It’s a deliberate gesture and very subtle, reports the Express. However, viewers were not pleased after the pair repeatedly interrupted each other. One individual vented: ” Prince William mentions his brother ‘Harry’ in a TV programme and now you have 2 random people on a Monday morning arguing about what it means live on national TV! “.

A second viewer chimed in: “Terrible segment, couldn’t hear a word with them talking over each other, had to switch off.” Another third person angrily remarked: “Just a shouty match, unwatchable.”

One person expressed their frustration, saying: “I was interested in hearing both points of view on this however I lost interest when everyone was shouting over others and at one point 4 people talking at once.”

Another viewer criticises a TV segment stating: “Absolute car crash interview on GMB, guests both talking over each other and presenters sat there like lemons and letting it carry on! “.

The news emerges as Prince William is poised to unusually acknowledge his younger sibling, Prince Harry, in an upcoming ITV documentary that addresses the issue of homelessness, notwithstanding the reported rift between them.

In the documentary, titled ‘Prince William: We Can End Homelessness’, the future king shares insights into early childhood experiences of visiting shelters with his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, accompanied by his brother.

Looking back, William recalls his inaugural visit alongside Harry to The Passage – a charity that aids the newly homeless. In the documentary, he remembers: “She took Harry and I both there. I must have been about 11, I think probably… Maybe 10. I’d never been to anything like that before.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
