It’s been a big month for McDonald’s fans as the iconic fast-food chain relaunched the McRib after almost a decade away.
And now, fans of the golden arches have got even more to be excited about, as they’ve unveiled a brand new burger.
The Chilli Double Cheeseburger will be dropping in all McDonald’s across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday November 6.
The brand new offering features two 100% British & Irish beef patties, two slices of cheese, onions, jalapenos, pickles and spicy relish all in a soft, toasted bun.
At just £2,49, McDonald’s say it will ‘tantalise taste buds without breaking the bank’.
The burger is never seen before in the UK, although fans in South Africa might recognise it – as it’s been on menus there.
And South African McDonald’s fans gave it rave reviews. One X user who had managed to get her hands on the burger wrote: ‘McDonald’s Chilli cheese double is hands down the best burger to ever exist.’
In fact, the only complaint X commenters seemed to have was that it wasn’t big enough.
The Chilli Double Cheeseburger is part of the re-launched Saver Menu, which has had a shake up, to now include small soft drinks and small milkshakes, as well as other fan favourites.
Prices start at just £1.19, meaning you can enjoy a McDonald’s treat without overspending.

Maccie’s have been delighting fans with new launches lately. As well as the beloved McRib, they also added a new addition to their breakfast menu: mini hash browns.
That’s right, you can now get hash browns in a throw-in-your-mouth-and-eat-20 size.
Available in a single portion (that’s five for £1.49) or a sharebox (15 for £2.99), they became available to customers from October 16.
McDonald’s said: ‘Perfect for those who love the classic McDonald’s Hash Brown, these little delights bring the same golden crunch and fluffy potato goodness in a new and fun style.
‘Each Mini Hash Brown is made to deliver the same irresistible crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior that we have all come to love.’
