Embryolisse has been a cult classic for years. Developed by a Parisian dermatologist in the 1950s, it’s been quickly embraced by celebrities, makeup artists, and women around the world.
While I’ve tried their SPF and Emulsion Cream, Embryolisse is best known for their Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser. It’s loved by stars like Michelle Keegan, Lady Gaga, and Sydney Sweeney to name a few, so I was super excited to get my hands on some.
In short, it’s a multi-use wonder product that saves masses of space in your makeup bag and leaves you with silky, dewy skin to die for. The best part? It doesn’t break the bank – coming in at just £13.65 at Boots.
I’ve been using the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser twice a day after washing my face or showering, and my skin is truly thanking me. As a moisturiser, I feel it’s replacing all the hydration and nutrients that my skin needs, and it smells and feels lovely to apply.
What’s more, its claim that it’s a ‘multi-functional’ product isn’t a lie. I’ve used the Lait-Crème Concentré to remove my makeup, as an overnight mask, as a body lotion and even as a lip balm when my lips were particularly chapped. It’s ended up saving me so much time and space when I’m packing to go away, as it can really do everything.
Its rich formula contains essential fatty acids and vitamins to reduce irritation and plump skin for firmer results. Sure enough, after using for about a week, my skin felt gorgeously smooth and bouncy – and I particularly liked the glowy effect it gave underneath my makeup.
The Lait-Crème Concentré leaves my skin super hydrated, meaning I’ve loved going out makeup free with clean, bright skin. I’ve also been keeping my natural brows super defined using these Swiss made Rubis Switzerland Slanted Tweezer’s that are loved by Stacey Solomon and Adele’s brow gurus.
Using the Embryolisse Moisturiser as a makeup remover was super simple and easy. I simply applied a generous amount all over my face, gently rubbing it in with my finger tips, then used some damp cotton pads to remove the cream.
Unlike other removers, my skin didn’t feel stripped of its natural oils, and my eyes didn’t sting when using the product around them. You could also use a muslin cloth if you were looking for some extra exfoliation.
The Lait-Crème Concentré soaks into the skin really nicely, and doesn’t leave a tacky residue like some other super moisturising products. Even better, it works as a great primer for makeup, helping me blend foundation seamlessly without causing the products to react.
Even with sensitive skin, I’ve managed to use the for weeks now without a reaction. It’s even worked to clear up dry patches on my hands and neck too.
If you’re looking to simplify your beauty routine, or even just treat your skin to a new product without breaking the bank, then the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser is your answer. Don’t forget to add essential sun protection with the Embryolisse Lait Creme Multi Protection SPF20 – If you shop online at Boots, you’ll bag a free Skincare Saviours box worth over £68 when you spend £50 on selected expert skincare.
