Eva Longoria has given us a little insight into her best friend Victoria Beckham’s eating habits, insisting ‘she’s easy’.
The 49-year-old Desperate Housewives actress and the fashion designer, 50, have been friends for decades.
And Eva has even been treated to VB’s breakfasts, as she revealed: ‘She’s actually easy because we eat the same breakfast.
‘We both love egg whites and avocado. When we’re together… she makes a great egg whites and avocado.’
The duo have a close bond, with Eva, who is godmother to Harper Seven, revealing last year that they’re ‘peas in a pod’ and still have ‘sleepovers’.
Talking about Victoria’s diet, the American star continued to MailOnline: ‘For dinner, she is definitely steamed fish. Steamed fish, steamed vegetables.
‘She’s easy. It’s actually the opposite. She is actually easy, not difficult.’
Her comments come after mum-of-four Victoria’s husband David lamented that she’s been eating the same thing for 25 years.
‘I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it,’ he said on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast in 2022.
‘Since I met Victoria, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate away from there.’
‘The only time she’s probably ever shared something that’s been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and it was the most amazing thing. It was one of my favourite evenings.
‘I can’t remember what it was but I know she’s not eaten it since.’
Spice Girls star Victoria previously also confessed she had a ‘boring’ diet, saying on the same podcast: ‘This is where I sound even more boring in the food department.
‘I like whole grain toast with salt on it. It’s that carby thing, isn’t it? It’s that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted and I love salt. I’m a savoury person as opposed to a sweet person.’
She’s also spoken about how ‘disciplined’ she is with her diet, insisting she doesn’t count calories, and how her relationship with her body has improved in recent years.
‘You just become more accepting, don’t you? This is how I look,’ she said.
‘I’m going to make the best of it, work hard at it. I’m very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work.
‘That’s just who I am. But I do like to have a drink and I’m not going to be one these, “Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine” types.
‘Whatever. Life’s too short. Let’s have a nice time.’
