Investigators determined Rosas was “a victim of violence” after a staff member at the resort found her body in a guest room, according to Suffolk County police.

Officials identified the suspect in Rosas’ killing as 56-year-old Thomas Gannon. Police said Wednesday that Gannon was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
